Sheet Metal Stamping Services — Versatile Metal Forming Solutions
Sheet metal stamping encompasses a broad range of metal forming operations that transform flat sheet metal into finished parts and components. Our sheet metal stamping capabilities include blanking, piercing, bending, forming, coining, embossing, and flanging — enabling production of virtually any flat or formed metal component from simple brackets to complex multi-bend assemblies.
As a full-service sheet metal stamping manufacturer, we handle everything from initial design consultation and prototype development through high-volume production. Our stamping presses range from 25 to 600 tons, processing material thickness from 0.004 inches to 0.500 inches in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and specialty alloys.
Sheet Metal Stamping Operations
- Blanking — cutting flat shapes from sheet metal using precision-ground punch and die sets. Produces parts with clean, burr-free edges and tight dimensional tolerances.
- Piercing — creating holes, slots, notches, and cutouts in the workpiece. Round, square, rectangular, and custom hole shapes are all achievable.
- Bending — forming angles, channels, Z-bends, and U-bends along a straight axis. Our experience with springback compensation ensures accurate bend angles in all materials.
- Coining — precision compressive forming that produces extremely tight tolerances (±0.0005 inches) and fine surface detail. Used for critical dimensions and flat surfaces.
- Embossing — creating raised or recessed features, logos, text, part numbers, or stiffening ribs in the metal surface.
- Forming — creating complex three-dimensional contours and shapes including compound curves, louvers, lances, and bridge features.
- Flanging — bending the edge of a part to create a lip, hem, or flange for assembly, stiffening, or edge protection.
- Drawing — shallow draw operations for cups, trays, and recessed features where depth is less than the diameter.
Materials and Thickness Range
We stamp a comprehensive range of sheet metals to meet diverse application requirements:

| Aluminum | 1100, 3003, 5052, 6061 | 0.005″ – 0.250″ |
| Brass | C260, C360 | 0.005″ – 0.125″ |
| Copper | C110, C101 | 0.005″ – 0.125″ |
| Galvanized Steel | G60, G90 | 0.015″ – 0.250″ |
| Spring Steel | 1074, 1095, 301 SS | 0.005″ – 0.062″ |
Industries and Applications
Our sheet metal stamping services support a wide range of industries:
- Automotive — brackets, clips, panels, reinforcements, and structural components
- Electronics — chassis, covers, panels, brackets, and heat sinks
- Telecommunications — rack mounting brackets, cable management hardware, and enclosure panels
- HVAC — duct brackets, mounting plates, damper components, and structural supports
- Construction — structural connectors, framing clips, anchors, and hardware
- Furniture — brackets, hinges, drawer slides, and structural components
- General Industrial — brackets, covers, panels, guards, and mounting plates
Quality and Precision
All sheet metal stampings are produced under our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. We maintain tolerances as tight as ±0.001 inches on blanked features and ±0.005 inches on formed features, with comprehensive dimensional inspection using CMM, optical comparators, and calibrated hand gauges. SPC monitoring ensures process stability across production runs, and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports are provided with every new part.
